Tidal River Biogeochemistry
Tidal river systems form part of a dynamic interface between the land and the sea. I want to understand how riverine microbial communities might respond to changes in salinity - driven by rising ocean waters in a low gradient coastal plain. For the meantime, this means I get to play with some salty muds!
